Did you know, there have been 30 species of cetaceans found in UK waters, yes really, 30! Some of them are very rare indeed but others can be seen regularly and this talk will focus particularly on these and show you some of the best places to find them! Photographs and video will help you learn a little about how to identify them and the behaviours you might observe and there'll be some "fascinating facts" too! If you love whales and dolphins, and would like to find out more about them, then this is the talk for you!
We'll also explore some of the work being done to study and protect them and how you can get involved with the research!
The talk will be approximately 50 minutes to an hour, followed by an opportunity to ask questions and find out more for around 20 minutes.
Although the webinar is FREE it is given to raise funds for, and awareness of, Sea Watch Foundation and providing this service has it's own costs and expenses to cover.
