A Lookback: Digital Communication of COVID-19 Resources in Rural Upstate New York
Please join us on December 6th at 1 p.m. for a virtual presentation by the Rockefeller Institute of Government's fall 2021 Center for Law & Policy Solutions (CLPS) undergraduate research interns. The cohort of students will share their analysis of the communication of COVID-19 resources to residents in New York's Schoharie, Warren, St. Lawrence, and Hamilton Counties by public health officials, county administrators, and local hospitals and healthcare providers.

As a reflection on the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, their research aims to highlight the process of COVID-19 communication in rural regions and identify best practices for future public health communications in rural areas.

The undergraduate interns from the University at Albany, Empire State College, and Hudson Valley Community College have spent the fall semester studying this issue under the guidance of CLPS Interim Director Laura Decker. The presentation of their findings will be followed by a Q&A session.
