Communities of Practice Grounded in the Teachings of Fred Rogers

This event is an interactive, facilitated panel discussion on the development of communities of practice for educators. Participants will engage in discussion about supporting, facilitating, and sustaining communities of practice for educators and educator leaders. Participants will also have opportunities to connect ideas from Fred Rogers and Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood to their practice as educators, while considering the impact of these connections for a community of practice that is grounded in the philosophy and values of Fred Rogers. This session will also explore the impact of specialized communities of practice on various contexts of practice serving children, families, and other educators.
