UIAA Speaker Series | Healing after Collective Trauma: A Discussion on Mental Health and Recovery from the COVID-19 Pandemic
Join us for an Alumni College webinar on December 8th at 6 PM CDT with Associate Professor Tara Powell.

The lasting consequences of COVID-19 continue to affect the global population. Although the vaccine reduced the risk of severe complications from the virus, the physical and mental health impact of two years enduring the pandemic persists. This presentation will provide an overview of the long-term mental health implications of collective traumas, including COVID-19. Evidence-based approaches to support individual and community recovery will also be discussed.

This event is worth 1.0 CEU for LCSW/LSW and LCPC/LPC in the state of Illinois. If you would like to receive credit for attending this event, please email Amy Frederick at aeweber2@illinois.edu. Attendance will be verified.
