Taking some inspiration from the TV series Driving Force where Judy Murray interviews inspirational females in sport we have our very own webinar version!

Lisa has had and continues to have a very successful career in sport spanning over 35 years. With roles including Director of the British Olympic Association, Head of Sport at Sport England, Chair of the British Institute of Swimming, her CEO roles with Volleyball England and now Sport and Recreation Alliance we’re excited to hear about her journey. Lisa has also held/holds a number of roles internationally and works locally with a charity to support young people to better themselves through sport.

This webinar will tie in closely with our mentoring programme that we are launching as part of the This Girl Can in Herts Year as we believe it’s important to highlight the success of females in sport and recreation and encourage other females to aspire and achieve those successes. We will be hearing all about Lisa’s career, how she has got to where she has, challenges she has faced along the way and how she overcome those. What it’s like to be a successful woman in a leadership role and how can others follow in her footsteps.
