The purpose of this Stakeholder Meeting is for the Commission to receive feedback regarding proposed revisions to Rules 1.3 - APPLICABILITY, Rule 1.9 – REQUIREMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL KICKBOXING AND MUAY THAI PARTICIPANTS, Rule 1.10 – REQUIREMENTS FOR PROFESSIONAL MIXED MARTIAL ARTS (MMA) AND MARTIAL ARTS (MA) PARTICIPANTS, and Rule 1.17 – REQUIREMENTS FOR ELIMINATION BOUTS. The purpose is to comply with the recent safety standards promulgated by the ASSOCIATION OF BOXING COMMISSIONS AND COMBATIVE SPORTS as codified in the UNIFIED RULES OF MIXED MARTIAL ARTS.
