Energy Policy Series Part 8: Drivers of Electric Cooperatives’ Performance in the Philippines
In the last installment of the Energy Policy Series (EPS), learn more about the factors that influence the performance of electric cooperatives in the Philippines.

In particular, Mr. Adrian Glova and Dr. Laarni Escresa will discuss the results of their working paper with the title "Drivers of Electric Cooperatives’ Performance in the Philippines: A Principal Component Analysis and K-Means Clustering Approach".

Dr. Laarni Escresa
Senior Research Fellow @ASEP-CELLs
Dr. Laarni Escresa is an Associate Professor at the University of the Philippines School of Economics, and is a Senior Research Fellow for the ASEP-CELLs project. She earned her PhD in Law and Economics at the University of Bologna and Erasmus University Rotterdam and her European Master in Law and Economics at the University of Hamburg and Ghent University. Her research interests include economic regulation, and economic analysis of laws and institutions.
Mr. Adrian Glova
Research Assistant @ASEP-CELLs
Mr. Adrian Glova is an Instructor at the University of the Philippines School of Statistics, and is a Research Assistant for the ASEP-CELLs project. He earned his bachelor's degree in Economics (magna cum laude) from UP Diliman, and is finishing his MS Statistics from the same university. His research interests include econometrics, time series analysis, and public economics.
