Join us for a meaningful discussion on online harassment and abuse and the real experiences of youth happening online and in real life (IRL). We will talk about online safety, support, and how pop culture and media play a role. The webinar will be moderated by our love is respect Director, Angela Lee, and the participants will include members of our Youth Council. This webinar will be at 3 pm CST/4 pm EST.

ASL and Spanish interpretation will be provided for this session.

Now, I strive to empower youth with the resources and education my peers and I never had. If I’m not working, you can find me gushing over Harry Styles, reading in bed, or on a walk around my neighborhood. Kate Nechanicky I love being on the council to amplify the youth's voice regarding teen dating violence prevention, which is an important topic to me. I wish I had known about healthy and unhealthy relationships earlier in my life, so I am passionate about spreading that information and educating young people on such an essential mission. Zane Landin Zane Landin recently graduated from Cal Poly Pomona, earning his Bachelor of Science in Communication and Public Relations. He is a mental health, disability, and survivor fighter who advocates for an equitable world of fairness, bravery, and authenticity. He believes in the power of positive storytelling and how it can bring out cultural change. He lives in Washington, D.C., working at the National Geographic Society as an Internal Communications Specialist. Angela Lee (Director @love is respect) Angela Lee is the love is respect Director for The National Domestic Violence Hotline (The Hotline), where she leads the strategy, implementation, and operations of love is respect to ensure that love is respect is the national resource to disrupt and prevent unhealthy relationships and intimate partner abuse by empowering young people through inclusive and equitable education, support, and resources.
