These most westerly islands of the Outer Hebrides, alone in the Atlantic, were inhabited until 1930. Sara Frost, NatureTrek's leader on trips to St. Kilda, will give an illustrated talk on St. Kilda and its adjacent islands, describing the journey to the island and the wildlife to be seen on the way. The talk will concentrate on the history and wildlife of St. Kilda, which has a million seabirds, a mouse twice the size of its mainland cousins and a unique wren, apart from everything else, in and out of the sea…
