By participating in the online event of the Arab-German Young Academy of Sciences and Humanities (AGYA) via Zoom, you confirm that you have read and agreed to be bound by Zoom’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Please note that Zoom’s Privacy Policy does not fully comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union. According to Art. 44−55 of the GDPR, the transfer of data to a non-secure third country is not permitted.
By participation in a meeting, your data will be transferred to the provider Zoom in the USA. Please note that the USA is not on the list of countries with an adequate level of data protection according to the GDPR since the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) has declared the Privacy Shield ineffective. In addition, the Cloud Act and the FISA Act allow US security services to access personal data at any time, which may not be disclosed to the persons concerned.
