Governance and Integrity within the WEFE Nexus

The WEFE Nexus highlights the interlinkages across the different sectors, and within that, the importance of integrated solutions to address climate change issues. Within the operationalization of the Nexus, many challenges arise from bringing different stakeholders to work together, along with the different technical and governance challenges. The adoption of the WEFE Nexus involves multi-stakeholders and requires coordination and integration across levels of government (vertical), as well as across sectors (horizontal). This involves assessing common risks, a balanced decision-making process, joint funding mobilization as well as joint action towards common objectives. Addressing governance and integrity concerns can support these processes and help achieve common objectives in an efficient manner.

This webinar will focus on ongoing and evolving governance and integrity mechanisms and frameworks around WEFE Nexus.
