Join North Carolina Humanities for an interactive panel discussion examining themes from our North Carolina Reads selection Soul City: Race, Equality, and the Lost Dream of an American Utopia. You do not need to have read this selection to attend.

This panel will explore the forgotten saga of Soul City. This event features author Thomas Healy and Dr. Kofi Boone in conversation moderated by North Carolina African American Heritage Commission Associate Director Adrienne Nirdé.
