Rural Transportation Management Association (TMA) Webinar

Are you interested in learning how to increase access to employment and address other mobility needs by establishing a partnership between employers, municipalities, and stakeholders in your area ? Have you ever thought about creating a Transportation Management Association (TMA)? Join us for this webinar to learn how TMAs can work in rural areas to help employers build reliable transportation networks and how to get started.

First, Michele Brooks, Vice President of TransAction Associates, will provide an overview of TMAs, the nuts and bolts of setting one up, and lessons learned from her years of experience with TMAs in MA and CT.

Next, we will have presenters from two rural TMAs share about how they were started, how they have evolved, challenges they faced, and successful strategies. These speakers include: Vicki Rusbult of the Eastern Maine Development Corporation and John Haffner and Ellen Hender of Vital Communities, which convenes the Upper Valley TMA in VT and NH.

There will be plenty of time for audience engagement and Q&A.
