Ammonia bunkering in Singapore – GCMD & DNV
There has been a lot of visibility around ammonia bunkering safety lately. We at the AEA are tracking at least four bunkering related projects, all with strong safety elements. One of these has been initiated by the Global Centre for Maritime Decarbonisation (GCMD) in Singapore and has engaged DNV among its mainstay partners. The GCMD has identified safe bunkering infrastructure as a key piece of the ammonia fuel jigsaw puzzle for Singapore. Going beyond feasibility, the project will take a rigorous and safety-centric approach focused on practical solutions. These findings will be of great value to all the industry stakeholders and partners, particularly as the information will largely be publicly available.

Join us on Tuesday 24 May @ 4PM SGT to explore these developments in Singapore. We welcome Lau Wei Jie (Director, Research & Projects, Global Centre for Maritime Decarbonisation) and Dr Imran Ibrahim (Principal Consultant and Head of Research and Development, DNV Maritime Advisory - Southeast Asia & Pacific-India). They will be joined in conversation by Conor Fürstenberg Stott (Maritime Director, AEA & Partner, Fürstenberg Maritime Advisory). Please submit your questions for our speakers when you register below, and we look forward to seeing you on 24 May for a great discussion.
