Description
Join Mere Nailatikau and the co-authors of the Pacific Women Lead Formative Situational Analysis for a conversation about inclusive and credible research practices that amplify Pacific voices and local ownership of gender equality efforts. This open-to-all webinar is the first in our Pacific-led development learning series, exploring how Pacific Women Lead is working to advance locally led development. The conversation will consider how localisation can contribute to transforming Pacific research into gender equality. The co-authors of the Pacific Women Lead Formative Situational Analysis will discuss research methodologies, the concept of credibility, and what it takes to produce research that is meaningful, relevant and grounded in Pacific contexts. They will also explore the resources needed to support this approach. Panellists include ‘Ofa Guttenbeil-Likiliki, Michelle Reddy, Virisila Buadromo, Nikki Bartlett and Niketa Kulkarni.
