Rachel Detroit
Rachel was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis on December 3rd, 2018, although she recalls experiencing symptoms for a few years before that. Receiving this news tore her life apart both mentally and physically. She lost strength in the whole right side of her body & was unable to walk for longer than 90 seconds. Household tasks were extremely difficult. Loss of balance, tingles, eye twitching, hearing loss, vision impairment, loss of strength, numbness, tingling in extremities & extreme fatigue were challenges that accompanied this diagnosis. Rachel left a stressful career as a middle school teacher to help manage MS. She then got certified as a personal trainer, nutritionist, health coach & meditation teacher.
