Medicaid Expansion Community Briefing
Since New Hampshire first implemented Medicaid expansion in 2014 as part of the Affordable Care Act, hundreds of thousands of Granite Staters have utilized the program to access health care, including more than 93,000 adults who are currently getting the health care they need through the program.

The future of Medicaid Expansion is in jeopardy, however, unless it is reauthorized this year by our state legislature. Without legislative action, Medicaid Expansion will expire on December 31, 2023, leaving thousands of Granite Staters without access to affordable health care.

The effort to reauthorize Medicaid expansion in New Hampshire is anticipated to be one of the most important issues at the State House this year.

Join us for this important community briefing to learn more about the role Medicaid expansion plays in New Hampshire to increase health coverage and lower health costs, some of the key political considerations that have shaped the program in the past, and how each of us can work together to protect this critical health care program going forward.
