HUD’s Office of Public and Indian Housing (PIH), in collaboration with the Technical Assistance Collaborative (TAC), is hosting the first national HCV Homeownership Convening. The convening will take place virtually over two-half days and cover a range of topics. All PHAs administering a HCV program are invited to attend and can choose to participate in one or both days. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- A description of each day’s sessions is provided below for reference: Day 1 (11/13) will be focused on providing foundational knowledge about the program. Sessions will include: State of HCV Homeownership, Overview of Program Requirements, Best Practices Panel. Day 2 (11/14) will be focused on developing partnerships and key strategies of successful program design. Sessions will include: Housing Counseling and Partnerships, Working with Lenders, Closing the Affordability Gap, and Engaging and Educating Program Participants.
