CJA Panel Training: A Fed Talk on Cross Examination

The Sixth Amendment to the United States Constitution authorizes criminal defendants the right of confrontation in Federal Court. That right has affectionately been exercised through cross-examination, and it impacts all aspects of representation in criminal proceedings, from the probable cause hearing to trial.

Through this CLE you will develop (or refresh) a skill-set to effectively conduct cross-examination on your client’s behalf beginning with Probable Cause and Detention hearings, up to Suppression Hearings and Release Violations, and throughout Trial and Sentencing hearings.
