Telemedicine Law Post-Pandemic
At the height of the pandemic, legislators expanded telehealth access to accommodate the growing need for healthcare while people were sheltering in place. These broader policies allowed providers to stay connected with patients while maintaining social distancing.

As COVID-19 regulations relax and we start to return to a semblance of pre-pandemic, many states have rolled back or reviewed their telehealth coverage mandates. It's paramount that providers and healthcare facilities remain compliant with new and revised telehealth regulations.

To help you navigate the current landscape, Professional Risk has invited Joseph P. McMenamin of the McMenamin Law Offices, PLLC, to discuss telehealth law in Virginia, Maryland, and DC.

In his presentation, Dr. McMenamin will review licensure requirements for telehealth coverage and how it pertains to physicians in DC, VA, and MD. He will then touch on other aspects of telehealth law, including privacy, consent, and tort liability.

There will be time for a Q&A session following the 45-minute presentation, so please come prepared with any questions you may have on the subject!
