This educational webinar will describe diagnostic tests for hemostasis measurement, and how T-TAS® 01 is unique. The presentation will focus on the measurement of primary hemostatic function (platelet plug formation). Participants will learn the performance and utility of the T-TAS®01 assays. Topics will include assays for the measurement of primary hemostasis, assay comparisons, and clinical and research applications.

The T-TAS® 01 PL Assay is intended for use in the clinical laboratory for the analysis of the platelet thrombus formation process (primary hemostatic function) in patients with a history of conditions associated with impaired primary hemostatic function or use of antiplatelet therapy.

Jeff DAHLEN, Ph.D.

Dr. Dahlen has more than 20 years of experience in the in vitro diagnostic industry, including more than 15 years of experience in hemostasis testing. Prior to founding Hikari Dx, Inc., he held leadership positions in biomarker discovery, R&D, clinical affairs, medical affairs, scientific affairs, regulatory affairs, and quality management. Dr. Dahlen received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences (Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Pathology focus) from the University of New Mexico, and has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications, abstracts, and patents.
