“Saoi” is the Project Coordinator for Advancing Momentum for a Tobacco-Free California and joined ASH after earning her Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Columbia University in Spring 2021. Before pivoting into public health, Saoi studied Film and Digital Media at UC Santa Cruz where her love for storytelling began. In the past, she has worked as a film workshop coordinator, communications specialist, and videographer consultant. Today, she is pleased to be in a position that merges her creative skills and public health training and looks forward to the positive change that will emerge from tobacco-control efforts.

Associate Director of Communications @Action on Smoking and Health (ASH)
Megan Manning is the Associate Director of Communications at Action on Smoking and Health. She has over eight years of experience working in global public health communications and advocacy. At ASH, she leads media relations, social media, website development, and email engagement. Before joining the ASH team, Megan worked at the Leon H. Sullivan Foundation supporting their work to unite the African diaspora with the African continent through outreach, advocacy, and events. She also supports local startups with their communications needs.
