FYI - The groups we consulted with said they would prefer to keep their relationship with each individual funder and would feel like they might lose control if their bid went into a portal and they didn't know who to follow up with.

in terms of data protection/GDPR who's responsible for it now with the CAP?

Could there be a field that asks for any social media account handles? In addition to the website field?

Will talk about GDPR - Each funder will have their own JotForm account and so the responsibility lies with them and each funder completes a short GDPR form.

Is this a silly question, but are the plans for this just to be used in Yorkshire or is the idea/can the form be/are there hopes for it to be used beyond?

Have you found any formatting issues when completing and emailing the PDF in the web browser?

CAP =Common Application Form

Does the form stop typing when you reach the word count for a question?

Is the information on Jot Form stored in the UK?

Did you consider making the form available as a Word doc instead of / as well as editable pdf?

If funders can't utilise Dropform, is there a hope that they might be able to still utilise the wording or framing of these questions to retain some consistency for those applying for funding?

Have we had feedback on this form from the VCSE sector?

we use a guidance notes document. its a mixed bag - some will ring up and query something - which leads to a conversation and others do not read it at all.

It's not suitable for us but I think it's great

This has been a really interesting session and I think the form will be very useful for both funders and applicants. An additional benefit of this form could be building applicants confidence in filling out larger/more complex application forms for larger grants in future as there is a lot of cross over here with the information we require for NLHF grant applications.

Really interesting session and a great collaboration by all involved. Most of the grant funding I'm personally involved in is for larger amounts but happy to share with colleagues and see if there are opportunities to use it for smaller grant funds.

I agree Rosie, anything that can help build applicants confidence in completing application forms also an excellent thing
